Jennifer Hodges is a ceramic artist who has been working with clay since school days (i.e. a long time). Lucky enough to have had the opportunity to be inspired by other potters and the beautiful Australian environment.
Woolshed Ceramics studio is located in Wooragee , North East Victoria, Australia. The studio workspace and shop are housed in a 1940s shearing shed where the sheep pens and shearing stands are still in pristine condition. The spaced is shared with Barking Owl Distilling Co. So allow extra time for a Gin or seasonal spirit tasting.
All work is crafted from a high fire, stoneware clay and usually produced on the pottery wheel (hand-building techniques are sometimes explored). The pieces are designed to always be functional and used in our daily rituals yet they must also be beautiful and unique, a delight to use!
